HOTEL UNIVERSAL 3 star hotel Senigallia, Ancona

When you combine the enchanting city of Senigallia with its velvet beach and the welcome you receive at Hotel Universal, you could not ask for anything more! As soon as you enter the hotel, you immediately feel the welcome at reception accompanied by a big smile from Lucia, a friend and former long standing colleague, who covers me in her warm embrace. Roberta, the owner, is a breath of fresh air, an energetic and positive woman who speaks to me with love and enthusiasm for her work and the desire to always be in step with the times. The beautiful 3 star Universal Hotel is directly on Senigallia's seafront. The beach is  just in front of the Hotel with its beautiful sea, which remains shallow for several meters from the coast making it ideal for children and I can confirm this, I started coming here during my early childhood and every time I breathe in this air, the memories begin! The city center, as well as the famous Rotonda on the sea, are within 10 minutes walking distance through the promenade and the pedestrian area, or one could use and take advantage of the free bikes.
Breakfast is a triumph of goodness in a beautiful room with a view overlooking the promenade, with a varied and rich buffet of excellent quality just like the restaurant service.
The recently renovated rooms are spacious and modern but warm at the same time: light colors, sophisticated lighting, and many have a balcony with sea views stretching across the beach.
And after the beach? Or if today, I don’t feel like going to the beach? I go down to the Spa and I relax in a sauna, have a facial or body treatment or massage.
It lacks nothing, absolutely nothing, and if I have to add something, everything is enriched with the liveliness of this town, always full of events and with the many charming villages to visit nearby, after all, we are in the Marche region, where the sea and the hills meet together!

• The Spa is on hand after a day at the beach or as an alternative
• Great care taken in welcoming guests and in the cleanliness of the building
